Our last leg of our vacation was spent in Portland with the Crowsons. This particular picture is one of my favorites. These two had been playing all afternoon. When I saw them sitting on this bench together...I asked them to pose for a picture. Emily grabbed his arm and said "best friends"...what a tender moment for a parent

Matt loves cooking for the Crowsons when he visits...Uncle Jerry also slow roasted some pork while we were there on his grill...he's an amazing cook himself. It was sooo good.

Here's a funny story for you all...I asked Em to go clean up her closet because all of her dress-up clothes were all over. She left...never to return. I asked Ethan to go check on her and he came back laughing.


When I went to see what was going on...this is what I found.

Now that our move is over...I have some catching up to do. The twins turned 7 mos old on May 14 ( I know, I know, now they're almost 8 mos). As you can tell, Miles has outgrown Macy by a foot at least. They are both such happy babies and love scooting around the living room. They are getting up on all fours and getting a couple of crawling moves in before they "belly out" as I call it. Their bellies flatten out on the floor like a lizard I think. They are getting really fun and starting to eat baby food, which adds another entire dimention to my day.

Macy loves sucking on her toes...she loves anything that involves her tongue, actually!
