Miles & Macy are officially two weeks old already! I cannot believe how fast time goes. They are both doing really well. Macy is already 5 lb. 8 oz. which is 2 oz over her birth weight. Miles is a little slower at gaining but he is 5 lb. 12 oz. which is only 3 oz. shy of his birth weight. He still has the oxygen on as you can see. We go to see the doctor on Nov. 5 and we'll start talking about weining him then, she said. They are both starting to stay awake a lot more and actually sleeping a little more during the night. Typically, I get about 2 2-hr naps and then some other little cat naps between 10 pm and about 6:30 am. It works for now. Luckily Matt is such an awesome dad and husband that I'm not doing anything by myself, even though he has to work in the morning.
This is their first trip in their new stroller that Grandma Backes and Aunt Jean bought them. It was so nice to get out in the Colorado sun.

We made it to the pumpkin patch at Studst Farms this weekend.

The kids loved the corn maze and got in a dried corn throwing fight that Matt started.

Cirkle and I sat out the corn maze, it wasn't wheelchair and waddling-friendly.

Em insisted on carrying her own pumpkin to the wagon.

E-man and his pumpkin

I think the pumpkin was almost
bigger than Morgan
Carving pumpkins at the house was fun with Dad. Cirkle even enjoyed drawing a face on hers, but Matt did the carving for all of them.

Em thought the insides were really gross at first and kept wanting to wash her hands every time she put her hands in the pumpkin. She got the hang of it after awhile though.

Even though they all thought it was squishy and gross, it didn't take them long to start playing in it, eating it, and making a big mess!

Arches National Park

We took a day off of school and went to Arches National Park with Mom. It was only about 1 1/2 hr away and totally worth it. The weather was awesome, the kids enjoyed hiking with Grandma and you could still see a lot from the car (which is where Cirkle and I had to stay most of the time). The doctor made me promise not to go on any hikes, although we did get out for a couple of viewpoints and a picnic.

You can barely see the arch in the very back of this photo of the kids

I can't believe I actually figured out how to post a video. It's a little late, but here is Morgan on her first day of 1st grade. She loves school, which is no surprise, and the other two can't wait for her to get home at the end of each day.
