It is really hard to get a really focused picture with these two because one or both are ALWAYS moving. Here they are at 5 mos old. Smiles are really coming out and they are starting to laugh out loud which makes life grand around our house

One might wonder what would posses a family with 5 small children to drive almost 20 hrs north for spring break. Well, we wanted to visit family and we're always up for an adventure!! The kids did amazing and actually the twins were the only ones who had melt downs a couple of times. We didn't mount the cam on the dash, but we did get a few random pics. We drove through the night so you gotta love the hairdo's.
Our purpose in coming to Minnesota was to visit Matt's family. We hadn't been there for almost 4 years and it was wonderful to visit with everyone and introduce the 3 youngest to the family. Thanks for everything Minnesota Veeks!!
The kids loved visiting with Grandma Veek and talking with her
So the twins may not have liked being held by siblings, but it worked for the photo anyway, WE LOVE YOU GRANDMA VEEK
Shelly with the babies, it was sure nice to have another set of arms and the kids loved spending time with Grandpa Kirby and Grandma Shelly

We did make it to Mall of America in Minneapolis. The kids thought the indoor rollercoasters were amazing and they loved this character from one of their favorite cartoons, the BackyardigansEthan was in heaven at Lego Land where you can build and race your masterpieces, the girls joined in the fun as well.
Where we ate lunch, the kids love the thunder and lighting that happens while you're eating, however Ethan was ready to get out of there. ( I think I scarred him when I drug Cirkle down the stairs at my parents house during a tornado warning, sorry E-man)
We hit up Mt. Rushmore on our way home. It was chilly that's for sure and if you look close enough you can see George still has snow on his head and a little water running down his face. At least we were almost the only ones there, right?OK, I know I'm a dork, but I made the kids pose like the presidents ( I love how serious Em is haha)
